Del 30 de septiembre al 3 de octubre se estará llevando a cabo la novena versión de CEAMUN 2021 el modelo de las Naciones Unidas de la Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina, una iniciativa que reúne a aproximadamente 250 estudiantes universitarios del país y que se realizará bajo estrictos protocolos de bioseguridad.
Este evento académico y cultural, que se realizará en esta novena versión con el lema “Academia, Cultura y Humanismo”, buscará generar un debate y consenso frente a las problemáticas locales, regionales, nacionales e internacionales que acontecen en la actualidad, a través del debate de temáticas de coyuntura nacional como lo son la vulneración de los Derechos Humanos de las comunidades Indígenas, la construcción de estrategias por parte del gabinete ministerial del actual presidente de Colombia Iván Duque para atender la situación post- pandemia y asuntos de coyuntura internacional como la construcción de lineamientos para la reducción temprana de desastres (Disaster risk reduction strategies), entre otras temáticas de gran relevancia.
Vale destacar que CEAMUN cuenta con 20 comités que recogen temas transversales para el desarrollo de estos, cinco de ellos están diseñados en formato virtual para delegaciones nacionales e internacionales; de esta manera buscan impulsar el liderazgo en todos sus participantes, adoptando el diálogo, la resolución de conflictos y el sentido crítico constructivo, a través de la simulación de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU).
Esta nueva versión de CEAMUN contará con alianzas con el Hotel Escala, Rappi, Aprehsi IPS y La Fundación Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata, lo que llevará a que en los cuatro días de evento se realicen presentaciones musicales, danzas folclóricas y conversatorios académicos y culturales con el ánimo de visibilizar las acciones que se vienen desarrollando en el territorio.
